New Models for Data Consumption

I found the idea of an ‘iTunes’ model for data intriguing.  I would argue that companies and businesses are already moving to this model with platforms like Salesforce.com and the companies that plug into that platform like Jigsaw.  There are several services and data plug-ins that ride on a SMB’s database that add to and enhance it.  I think the challenge is creating the correct model for paying for just the data that a business wants or needs versus buying a huge database that is either too big or too expensive for smaller businesses.  This model seems to address that problem.
